I didn't like Taylor Hicks at all, the whole season I was just hoping he would get voted off, but that didn't happen.

I liked Elliott more than Taylor. Both of them were non-threatening, very basic. It seems to me Idol goes kind of hit and miss on that but I think Taylor or Elliott had to about win, although I think they wanted Chris to win (if that makes sense).
1st year--Kelly Clarkson (white female)
2nd year--Ruben Studdard (black male)
3rd year--Fantasia Barrino (black woman)
4th year--Carrie Underwood (white female)
5th year--Taylor Hicks (white male)
I think thats the right order, but they hadn't really had a white male win and think they really wanted that.
I'd much rather had Elliot, I think he had a very smooth sounding voice, why Taylor was a bit more 'jumpy'.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
